Visiting Angels of Las Vegas and Henderson is the oldest and largest home care agency in the area. We care for over 300 clients each day with a staff of 200 employees. Our caregivers average more than four years with us. In fact, our typical caregiver stays five years! We hire experienced candidates and train them in person, not online.

How We Got Started

Jackie DiAsio started working in home care long before she and her husband, Michael, opened Visiting Angels. When the couple relocated to Las Vegas from Ohio in 2006, Jackie joined the local Visiting Angels franchise. In 2010, she and Michael purchased it outright from the original owners.

Visiting Angels has proudly served the Las Vegas community for over 25 years, providing compassionate, personalized care to seniors who wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes. Our team is committed to supporting independence, dignity, and peace of mind for families.

Jackie and Michael are also experienced caregivers themselves, having been responsible for taking care of their elderly parents. Both sets of their parents live out of town, and the couple manages their care directly. As a result of doing this, we ascertained the needs and concerns of our clients and their families very well. In fact, numerous clients have told us that they appreciate how organized and professional we are about scheduling, how flexible we are with program minimums, and how seriously we take costs.

A Message from Jackie & Michael

“Assisting seniors is our long term purpose and love.

Jackie began working for Visiting Angels in 2006 when we moved to Las Vegas from Ohio. Her whole career has basically been in senior care.

In addition to the tasks that we perform, we believe that from the moment a senior or their family member calls us – we relieve stress. We listen and explain how we can help. For seniors who do not have family in Las Vegas or if their family must work – we fill in.

Their stress begins to drop.

If they are a daughter or son calling from out of town and they hear how much we can do and how professional we are, their stress begins to drop. Even though they are not in town.

Clients appreciate our flexible programs whether it is the 2-hour service, the As Needed program or the Live-in care service. They see that we care about reducing their costs to assist them with their budget. In some of these cases, we have had to go to the Nevada Legislature and work with the State of Nevada to get things changed.

Rapid Growth Led to Second Home Care Location

Within two years, it was clear that we were outgrowing our single office in Henderson to meet the demand for senior care in the valley. We chose to open a second office in Las Vegas in 2012. Since the beginning, our agency has been recognized as a leader in home care, winning The Best of Las Vegas consecutively, year after year. We hold an A+ Rating through the Better Business Bureau and actively participate with local organizations like the Aging Services Directors Organization, the Personal Care Assistance Advisory Committee, Personal Care Agencies of Nevada and the Alzheimer’s Association.
