Caregiver Spotlight: Moe M

Moe M has been apart of the Visiting Angels of Auburn team for 13 years! He was referred by a friend that he knew through volunteering at a local facility. Prior to working with us, he worked in the automotive industry as a service writer.

Moe has a big heart and a great sense of humor, which shines through his work. He truly cares about his clients, and it shows.

During our discussion, we asked Moe about the challenges he faces during his day to day work. He struggled to identify what the most challenging part of the position is from his perspective- but he did mention the art of learning how to get all the assigned tasks completed for the client in the allotted amount of time.

Since Moe has been with us for 13 years, we asked him to provide words of wisdom and advice for new caregivers. Moe stressed the need for patience-something he clearly has shown throughout his years. Seniors may not understand the need of home care and may be hesitant at first. But once they warm up to you and understand how we are helping them; the patience will be worth it.

In Moe’s downtime, he enjoys playing with his remote-controlled cars.
