Caregiver Responsibilities
At Visiting Angels, we are looking for caring individuals to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors in the greater Susquehanna Valley and other surrounding areas. Below are examples of the types of in-home care you may provide to clients:
- Companionship to senior clients
- Personal hygiene assistance – such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prep meals and diet monitoring
- Lighthouse keeping
- Assist with mobility and safety
- Provide transportation to doctor's appointments, errands
Job Requirements
Our ideal candidate is someone who is trustworthy, reliable and has a passion for serving others. We also require that the candidate:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
- Has a current driver’s license
- Reliable transportation with active insurance
- Must comply with all agency policies
- Has at least three satisfactory professional references
- Is willing to undergo a background screening
- Our office serves the Greater Susquehanna Valley area and may require travel to Lycoming, Union, Snyder, Northumberland, and Montour Counties.
