As a non-medical in-home caregiver with Visiting Angels, you will work closely with clients in their homes while providing companionship, emotional and physical support, and personal assistance. 

We hire caregivers to perform a variety of care services including companion care, personal care, specialized home care such as palliative, end-of-life care, and fall prevention, as well as memory care for Alzheimer’s and dementia clients, to name a few. 

Caregiver Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to compassionately help your senior clients maintain their independence and safety by monitoring their medications, ensuring their environment is clean and free of hazards, and assisting them to remain safe and secure.

Our Mobile “Angels” are adept at providing loving, respectful and attentive care to each client according to his/her individual needs and preferences. Our senior caregivers are great at communicating effectively and sensitively with a client's family members. We strive to find people who are dedicated to helping others, both professionally and personally, to join our care team. 

Depending on a client’s personalized care plan, caregivers can expect to fulfill the following duties:

• Provide companionship and social interaction to clients throughout the day.
• Assist clients with routine activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.
• Maintain a neat and orderly home for the client, including light housekeeping.
• Remind the client when they need to take their medications.
• Keep a close eye on the client for potential falls and risks.
• Arrange safe transportation for the client to their appointments.
• Respond appropriately in case of emergencies.
