"On behalf of my mom and our family, I write this thank you. Our mom was very special to us and we wanted to honor her in the final steps of her journey with Alzheimer's disease. It's so very hard to find a group of people that you can trust your family member to especially when they are your mom. There were a few rough patches throughout for all but it all worked out and we are grateful. I prayed a lot for the right group of people to care for my mom. I truly believe the name 'Visiting Angels' is perfect. Thank you for all you did for Mom."

"Finding good help is hard, it's even harder during these hard times. My Grandma is a cute little 98-year-old lady living near Kansas City, who needs some extra help at night and Visiting Angels of Kansas City has been able to provide that. I did a ton of research on companies that could possibly help her, and this was one of the most reasonable companies (hourly minimums, rates, etc). I started with a quick phone conversation with Eric, who promptly came to the house (wearing a mask), and he did an evaluation of her needs to make sure this was going to work for all parties involved. After confirming the details he was able to quickly get us a case manager who was able to schedule a helper that same week. Obviously, things are a little scary during this time, and we expressed that to them, and he assured us that the aides would be masked and follow protective guidelines. All in all, I'd say our experience with this company has been a 5-star experience. All of the helpers have been great, but there's been this one specific person who has been an absolute blessing.
This particular in home caregiver is hands down one of the absolute best caretakers we've ever experienced. She really connects with my Grandma, and you can just feel how much she genuinely cares. She gets my grandma laughing and is honestly someone she looks forward to seeing."

I am very embarrassed at how long it has taken me to write this letter! It is important that I say thank you for all the service you provided for my mother and the help that service provided me.
The ladies you provided were very good, service-minded, caring individuals who often went beyond “the call of duty.”
I am especially fond of Margaret, Connie, Jennifer, Cathy Crosley and Veronica. In the beginning, Lauren was very good and it seems I am missing someone but can’t remember all the names!

"I have been using Vising Angels for in home care for my 83 year old mother for the past 5 months. I was impressed with the caregiver from day 1, when she asked me numerous questions about safety issues - use of the car, stove, medications, etc., as well as some historical background so she could engage in meaningful conversation. She is very intuitive with Mom's needs and moods, always willing to try some thing new to deal with Mom's dementia. I especially like how she takes notes or pictures to record how Mom is doing during the day - the good times as well as the challenging ones. The office staff has been easy to work with when I need to make an adjustment in the schedule. I'd highly recommend Visiting Angels to anyone choosing to keep a loved one at home."

"Visiting Angels KC has literally gone many extra miles to deliver an excellent service for my loved one over the past couple of years. I am confident that an angel will arrive come rain or shine, ice, or snow. They don’t miss a beat providing care even when the unexpected occurs. The owner has even personally driven the caregiver a distance multiple times to our doorstep when warranted, and returned for them at the end of shift. That alone speaks volumes about their level of service. Angels are very special people. Our angels are qualified caregivers who have provided nothing less than gentle loving care and genuine comfort. The aroma of home cooked food being prepared at meal times permeates the clean, tidy house where an angel has been. My loved one is clean, well fed, and cared for, not just checked on. Care is given for both physical and mental as the angel provides company at their side. Every need and want is cared for. Communication is good, and the billing/insurance reimbursement process has been seamless. Continuity of care has been excellent between caregivers. Original angels from day one are still coming. If you are looking for great care for your loved one at a reasonable rate, based on my long-term experience, I can recommend give Visiting Angels KC a call."

I have been using Visiting Angels since Feb of 2022. They are good at what they do and are very trustworthy. My wife has Parkinson's Disease and needs someone with her most of the time to keep her from falling. She can't dress or go to the RR by herself anymore. Also doesn't cook or clean the house. That falls entirely on me and my 4 kids convinced me I needed help. Help in the way of a break from time to time. Visiting Angels to the rescue. The cost seems high at first but well worth it after you calculate how you feel after you have used them a few times. You ask yourself, how did i ever get along without them the last few years? After a while the wear and tear takes a toll on your body and you don't even realize it. I am so thankful that my daughter suggested Visiting Angels to give me a break from time to time so I can survive this situation a few years longer. The last year was really getting to me and I was wearing pretty thin in the patients dept. Now I look forward to everyday that I live with what God has prepared me for. Thank you Visiting Angels for everything that you do. I highly recommend Visiting Angels to anybody that needs help taking acre of a loved one. The day will come when we can't live in our own home anymore but thanks to Visiting Angels we can put that off for awhile. Great, caring, dependable people.
