WHY WE WALK TO #ENDALZ
Raindrops did not dampen our spirits – the Palm Beach Angels walk team loved participating in the West Palm Beach Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Our puppy participants dressed in their purple passion stole the show!
Experts agree that Alzheimer's probably develops due to a complex interactions of factors relating to age, genetics, environment, lifestyle, and coexisting medical conditions. If our own family is not directly affected by Alzheimer’s, we probably know someone who is.
Visit https://www.alz.org/seflorida/ to find resources and support, and get practical advice on how to modify behaviors and activities while caring for someone with Alzheimer’s. You can even find a clinical trial to enroll in!
As the disease progresses, homecare might prove beneficial for your loved one, as well as provide a much needed break from caregiving duties. Consider Visiting Angels for help with the daily routine 24/7, as well as hourly for respite care or intermittent care. Contact owner Colleen Haggerty at 561-328-7611 or visit www.VisitingAngels.com/PalmBeaches. We proudly service the Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, and West Palm Beach areas.
Thanks to everyone who joined our team, and especially those who walked in the rain with us! For more great pics, the Visiting Angels facebook photo album is HERE.
Till Next Time!
