Each program session includes a presentation, hands-on indoor activity, an outdoor demonstration, and a discussion group with light snacks. Seniors don’t need to be members of the Brillion Nature Center to join in on the fun, but pre-registration is required, and members receive a $2 discount.
If you’re not one for scheduled programs or the topics aren’t interesting, you can always visit the Brillion Nature Center and enjoy the nearby trails open daily from dusk to dawn. You can also rent a field pack for $5 with a field identification guide and other tools to educate yourself on native Brillion bugs and plants.
Brillion Wildlife Area
There’s no better way to enjoy a quiet moment in nature than at the Brillion Wildlife Area. The area is 4,800 acres of prairie, marsh, and wetlands, making it a go-to fishing destination for Wisonsinates. Grab your favorite pole, pack a healthy lunch, and pack your tackle box for a relaxing morning or afternoon near the water.
