Home Care in Francis Creek, WI

If you’re a senior in Francis Creek who needs help caring for yourself at home, the team at Visiting Angels is happy to help! Visiting Angels is a locally owned and operated home care agency that sends professional caregivers to clients’ homes to assist with daily living tasks. With a little extra help from Visiting Angels, seniors can feel safe and confident aging in place.

At-home care services with Visiting Angels

Visiting Angels has a care service that will work for you regardless of your at-home care needs. We created all of our care services with our clients in mind, and all are customizable to meet the needs of the individuals we care for.

  • Companion care is our most commonly requested care service. Companion care is for clients who require basic assistance but are relatively comfortable caring for themselves. Companion care may include help with cooking, housekeeping, medication reminders, or transportation.
  • Personal care is similar to companion care but includes hands-on assistance for clients who need more support. Personal care includes help with mobility, grooming, showering, toileting, and dressing.
  • Respite care is a temporary service for family caregivers taking a vacation or needing to offload some of the stress of caring for an aging loved one. Respite care can include any companion or personal care services.
  • Palliative care is for clients with chronic illnesses who need assistance with daily activities. Caregivers providing palliative care focus on clients' physical comfort and mental well-being. Caregivers may also provide spiritual and emotional support.
  • Ready-Set-Go Home is our transitional service for clients returning home after a hospital stay. A caregiver's job starts at the hospital, connecting with the client’s medical team to arrange proper transportation home and understand the essentials for a client’s recovery. The primary goal of our transitional care program is to reduce the risk of hospital readmission.
  • Dementia and Alzheimer’s care is for clients with any form of dementia, including Alzheimer’s. Dementia is an ever-changing condition, and caregivers providing dementia care are trained in the nuances of the condition to ensure clients are safe and comfortable.
  • Social care is a program for clients to help them grow more comfortable with technology. Our caregivers show clients how to text, send emails, and browse the web so they can stay connected with friends and family.
  • End-of-life care caregivers work alongside hospice teams to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to clients and their families as they enter life's final stages.

Living in Francis Creek

Francis Creek is a small village in Manitowoc County located within the town of Kossuth. Like many villages throughout Wisconsin, Francis Creek offers many resources and activities for residents. At Visiting Angels, we know how important staying connected with the community is for seniors, and our caregivers are happy to join clients on local outings.

Community Events

Stay connected with your neighbors regardless of age by attending community events with your friends, family, or caregivers. Community events are a wonderful way to get you out of the house and build your social circle. You can find upcoming events on the Francis Creek Community Calendar. You can also check out the village newsletters with events, clubs, and community ongoing events. If you have an email, you can ask your caregiver to sign you up for the newsletter so you never miss an issue.

Pla-Mor Park

Physical activity is essential as you age. The more physically active you are, the stronger your body and the easier it is for you to move and care for yourself. One fun way to incorporate more physical activity into your days is a trip to Pla-Mor Park. The park is 20 acres of land to explore, with baseball fields, horseshoe pits, a disc golf course, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and tennis courts. Caregivers with Visiting Angels are happy to provide transportation to the park and assist you while you explore the area and enjoy the park’s many offerings.

Local Restaurants

Sometimes, it’s nice to get out of the house and enjoy a meal from a local restaurant. There are a handful of eateries in and around Francis Creek that caregivers can help you dine in or order out from. A few popular choices include Wagner's Country Restaurant and El Patio

Please call Visiting Angels at 920-221-1000 to discover how our professional caregiving services can benefit you, or an aging loved one in Francis Creek.
