What does it take to be an in-home caregiver at Visiting Angels?
To become a Visiting Angels caregiver, we prefer that applicants have their CNA and at least 6 months of caregiving experience under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Caregivers should also meet the following requirements:
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Empathy and strong personal character
- Fluent in English (able to read and write in English)
- Legally able to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass both criminal background checks and drug screening
