Veterans Care

Visiting Angels of Cape May & Cumberland Counties Partners with Veteran's Care Coordination

Millions of America's senior citizens are Veterans or surviving spouses of Veterans. Visiting Angels honors these heroes and assists them in living independently at home. Many require help with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transportation, medication reminders, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, errands and companionship. There is a Veteran's Administration benefit, Pension with Aid and Attendance, that helps fund this care. Visiting Angels and Veterans Care Coordination can help you apply for this benefit, coordinate services and assist in maintaining eligibility in the program. Pension with Aid and Attendance is available to Veterans and surviving spouses of Veterans who meet certain criteria. As part of the partnership with Visiting Angels, Veterans Care Coordination intake coordinators work with clients and/or their families to screen Veterans and surviving spouses to determine eligibility and answer questions about the qualification criteria. In certain circumstances, both the Veteran and spouse may qualify for the benefit. For more information on eligibility requirements, please contact us via email at or by phone at 609-604-8176.

Each Visiting Angels agency is a franchise that is independently owned and operated. The Franchisor, Living Assistance Services Inc., does not control or manage the day to day business operations of any Visiting Angels franchised agency.
